To Play in Bellaire Little League you must live within our boundary map below or attend a school within the boundary. If you are outside of the BLL boundary please locate your correct little league here:
Here is the list of schools within our Boundary:
- Condit Elementary School
- Horn Elementary School
- Pin Oak Middle School
- The Post Oak School
- Veritas Christian Academy of Houston
- Faith Lutheran School
If your child does not live within the BLL boundary or attend one of the above schools they should play for their area little league. However, there is a waiver process to play in BLL for the regular season only. This process does not apply to post season tournament play (where little league all star teams play each other). (If your child or their sibling has since moved outside of the BLL boundary or moved schools after previously qualifying and playing for BLL, please complete a rule II(d) waiver at the bottom). If your child have never lived in or attended a school in BLL boundary please complete the wavier process below.
Regular Spring Season Waiver Process
- You submit a Letter to BLL explaining why you would like to play in BLL using our template: BLL Waiver Letter Template
- The President of BLL submits a supporting letter.
- The President of your area LL that you are zoned to submits a supporting letter.
- The district administration for District 16 (our little league district) submits a supporting letter.
These 4 letters are then sent to little league international for approval or rejection. Your role is to complete number 1 above. We will do the rest but we cannot guarantee that the other president will agree or that Little league international will agree to the waiver. Once we get your letter we will work to get the other 3 letters and star the process. This first letter should be sent to us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org
(this process does not apply to Fall Ball).
II(a) and II(d) Waivers
This type of waiver can be found in Regulation II of the rules and regulation for Little League Baseball and Softball. This rule allows a player who has previously qualified under residency for a league and played in the league to remain in the league after having the moved to a new residence or school.
As long as the player lived within the boundary and played with the league, they may continue service with the league if the player’s address or school location changed, the league’s boundary has changed, or the player is a sibling of a player who previously qualified for II(d).
If your child (or their sibling) has previously played in BLL while you lived within the boundary or attended a school in the boundary, but you have since moved or changed schools outside the boundary, please complete this wavier and send to email@example.com
